Iggy’s Baltimore Sports Report – May 17, 2016

Ravens:
Ravens to be investigated for having an illegal full pad practice at Rookie mini-camp… Ravens sign Safety Eric Weddle who spent the last 9 years with the Chargers. Analysts are already declaring this our best off season move.

Orioles:
Orioles have rebounded with a 2nd 7 game win streak of the season and sit atop the division. If pitching holds up, this team could go far, as they have the most homer happy team in the league, and a stellar defense to bolster our erratic pitching.

Alouettes
Nothing new to report.

Blast (IPL):
The Blast to spin off their own league next season. League to be comprised of 8 or 10 teams to play 20 games each.
Already on-board in the new IPL are longstanding franchises St. Louis Ambush and Harrisburg Heat, along with newly formed Florida Tropics SC, which will be based in Lakeland, Florida.

Chesapeake Bayhawks: (Home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium)
Bayhawks have opened the season 2-1, and tied for 4th place.

“Friendly” Penguins! Only good penguin, is the one living at the South Pole.

Wizards (See website for more details):
Season is over.

Mystics (See website for more details):
Season starts with a loss.

D.C.United (See website for more details):
United is 3-4-4, and still tied for 4th place, 5 points back of Montreal.
