Iggy’s Baltimore Sports Report – October 26, 2016

Ravens:
Good news or bad news? Good news is that we won’t lose next weekend. Bad news is that we still have half a season to watch this pathetic excuse for a football team. Offensive line isn’t holding. Flacco’s 2 INT led to the difference in the game. Our only touchdown was a failed punt by their kicker. At least our penalties were down.

Despite all these challenges, we are still only 1 game out of first, with the post-bye week must win game against the steelers. Lose that, and we might as well race Cleveland for a higher draft pick, although they have a health 3 game lead on us.

Orioles:
Indians up on Cubs 1-0, with game 2 tonight.

Alouettes
The Als (5-11) won 19-14, to move half a game ahead of Toronto for worst record. Ottawa leads the division at 7-8-1.

Blast (MISL):
Season opens November 5 at Harrisburg, and home opener is November 11 against Milwaukee. Individual game tickets now on sale.

Chesapeake Bayhawks: (Home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium)
Nothing new to report.

Caps (3-1-1) are tied for third with 7 points, 2 points behind the division leading scum of the earth.

D.C.United (See website for more details):
United finished in 4th place at 11-10-13 with a meaningless loss over the weekend. DC will host Montreal on Thursday night in a 1 game Knockout round.

    • @Packers over Bears (+7.5), but take the points. Packers have failed to cover 3 times already this season. Chicago too focused on the Cubs right now.
    • Ravens (+0.5) over Jets. Ravens 2-0 against teams currently holding sub-.500 records. S-U-C-K suck suck suck
    • @LA (+2.5) over Giants. Rams 3-1 as the Dog, and the Giants have failed to cover twice as the favorite. London calling… the Giants.
    • MN over @Eagles (+2.5). Eagles on a 2 game losing streak going in. Vikings no longer perfect.
    • @Chefs over NO (+6.5), but take the points. Saints 3-0 as the dog, while KC has failed to cover 1 of 2 times they were favored this season. Chefs win, but don’t cover.

    • Oakland (+1.5) over @Jags. Raiders 3-0 as the Dog. RAIDERS continue streak.
    • Colts (+2.5) over @Titans. Colts have Luck on their side; Titans 0-2 as the favorite. Colts by 8.
