Iggy’s Baltimore Sports Report – November 29, 2016

Ravens:
Wacky ending, but it all looks the same in the end. However, we cannot expect to play like the over the next 5 games and expect to win. The offense needs to find pay dirt (and stop kicking things around), and the secondary needs to find a way to play defense. We have a decent shot at the division title, but we need to step it up, or watch the playoffs from the couch. Cincinnati didn’t have their 2 biggest play makers and we barely won. What does that mean when we finish the season in Cincinnati? They will remember that final play of the game, and it won’t be a fond memory.

Someone was talking about going to Green Bay next season, but rumor on the street is that we could play Jacksonville in London.

Orioles:
Nothing to report.

Alouettes
Ottawa defeats Calgary in OT 39-33 for the 104th Grey Cup.

Blast (MASL):
Blast were off last week. Next game is at Florida on Saturday.

Chesapeake Bayhawks: (Home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium)
Hawks release 2017 schedule. (Nothing new to report)

Caps (13-6-2) remain in 3rd place, 3 points back.

Wizards (See website for more details):
Wizards (6-10) improved to have the 8th worst record in the NBA. Keep this up, and I will have to start counting the other direction.

D.C.United (See website for more details):
#4 Seattle (Western Conference) advances to MLS Cup. #5 Montreal (Eastern Conference) won first leg over #3 Toronto 3-2. Leg 2 is Wednesday night.

    • @Lions over Vikings (+2.5). Turkey day pick. Viking shoot themselves in foot, give Lions game winning FG.
    • @Dallas over Washington (+6.5), but take the points. Although Dallas is 5-0 against the spread, skins have been hot lately. Cowboys beat Indians.
    • squealors over @Indy (+3.5). I want the Colts to win, but we all know about what happens with my wants. Bah.
    • @RAVENS over Bengals (+4.5), but take the points. We don’t win games easily. lost by half a point.
    • @Houston over Chargers (+0.5). Houston is in first place. Chargers are in last. Chargers came to play.
    • Titans over @Bears (+2.5). Bears only have 2 wins for a reason. Titans win by 6.
    • @Bills over Jags (+6.5), but take the points. Jags are better than their record. Bills by 7.
    • @Falcons over Cardinals (+4.5). Falcons usually win by more than 4, and Cardinals usually lose by more than 4. Atlanta got medieval on them.
    • @Fins over Niners (+7.5), but take the points. Miami’s record is deceiving. Niners have covered 3 times, and in 2 straight games. Fins by 7, Niners cover.
    • @Saints over Rams (+6.5), but take the points. Saints are 1-3 as the favorite. Saints score 7 TDs.
    • Giants over @Browns (+6.5), but take the points. Giants have failed to cover 4 times, while the Browns have covered 4 times. Giants win by 2 touches.

    • @GB over Houston (+6.5), but take the points. Houston may be 0-3 as the underdog, but Green Bay has failed to cover 3x.
    • Eagles over @Bengals (+1.5). After what I saw, Eagles show roll them.
    • @Saints over Lions (+5.5), but take the points. Lions are 4-1 as the underdog.
    • Niners (+1.5) over @Bears. SF has covered 3 straight games.
    • @Pats over Rams (+13.5), but take the points. Pats have failed to cover 2 straight.
