At our 50th Anniversary Beef, Beer, and Bay Bash on March
28th at the Lodge in
Catonsville, we presented two 2009 "Formula 4 Success" Scholarship Award winners with their checks,
each for $1500. The winners for 2009 were:

Matthew Bounds -
Wilde Lake, C/NT
A team and line captain and second team
All-County in 2008, Scott is a member of the National Honor Society. Also plays lacrosse and
serves as a team captain. Matthew will be attending the Shenandoah
University in the fall.

Samuel Plazak -
Hammond,
6-2, 170, QB/DB/K/P
Served as his
varsity football team captain was the team MVP and ranks 19th in his class (of
259). Named to Baltimore Touchdown Club's "Super 22". Was invited to and
participated in US Army All-American Combine in San Antonio, Texas in 2008.
Was invited to and participated in Nike Elite 11 Quarterback Combine in State
College, Pennsylvania in 2008. Also plays basketball and lacrosse and
served as a varsity lacrosse team captain Samuel is considering several
very impressive schools but has yet to decide where he'll be in the fall.
