Hey all you Roost #4 members!Â Please note that we have a Roost #4 meeting this coming Monday, May 20th, 7pm up at Jilly’s!Â The meeting isÂ one week early this month since our normal “4th Monday of the month” fell on May 27th … Memorial Day.
For those members who purchased Oriole ticket packages with Roost #4 … we have a game this coming Sunday, May 19th!Â Gametime is 1:35pm at Camden Yards against the Tampa Bay Rays.Â A bunch of folks are meeting on Cross Street between10am &Â 11am for some adult beverages on the way to the game – contact Mitch for more details.
Also … just a reminder … the Council of Baltimore Ravens Roosts Convention in Ocean City is only 2 weeks away! Start getting psyched!

Just a reminderÂ … we have a Roost meetingÂ TONIGHT! (Monday, February 25th), 7pm up at Jilly’s!
This is our last meeting before our March 23rd bull roast … so please turn-in your collected monies, ticket stubs, and unsold tickets to Kim Colhouer at this meeting!
Also, we’re asking members to bring a bottle of booze to the meeting to serve as a donation to our Plush Wheel.
We’ll be looking for volunteers to sign-up at the meeting to assist with shifts on the wheels and selling raffle tickets at the bull roast.

Saturday, February 16th – former Roost #4 member, Tom McCabe, and his classic rock-and-roll band, Against the Grain, are playing at 8pm at Buffalo Wings & Beer in Glen Burnie (Burwood Village Shopping Center at 7089 C Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard … 410-760-BEER).Â Why not head-out and enjoy aÂ set or two with TomÂ & the band!?Â
Sunday, February 17th – Mother’s of Federal Hill is hosting their Pajama Brunch … wear your PJs and get 50% off your entire check!Â Sweatpants don’t qualify for the discount – you MUST wear PJs!Â Note that the Hoopers get there at 8am … why not c’mon out and join them!Â You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning!

Last Saturday was another fun day for Ravens Roost #4 with many members coming out to Jilly’s for a sports trivia challenge. Â A good time was had by all while raising money for The Special Olympics.
Ravens Roost #4 is holding a Sports Trivia Challenge at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 9th up at Jilly’s to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.Â Cost is $10 per person – up to four people per trivia team.Â Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams.Â Contact Jeff “Frosty” Volmer to sign-up. C’mon out, continue the celebration of the Ravens winning Super Bowl, and test your sports knowledge!
It seems Raven’s Roost #4 is a newspaper favorite again with it’s members being featured in the paper with both pictures and quotes.
While many experts predicted a close game, local Ravens fans were feeling confident in the days and hours leading up to kickoff.
Scott Habicht, who watched the game at Jilly’s in Ellicott City along with his fellow members of Ravens Roost No. 4, said before the game he was very confident the team would win.
“I felt we had the momentum, and we carried it in,” said Habicht, of Elkridge, in the second quarter.
Before the game, Mitch Hooper, of Columbia, said he felt that the Ravens would pull out the victory.
“They are focused,” said Hooper. “They want to go out and win this game, and it’s going to happen.”

The AFC Champion Baltimore Ravens are already in New Orleans to faceÂ the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVIIÂ on Sunday, February 3rd. Game time is 6:30pm.Â
C’mon out to Jilly’s and join our Roost #4 members and friends and watch the game as the teams battle for the World Championship!Â Roost #4 will again hold a 50/50 raffle and run a block pool for theÂ Super BowlÂ – all proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland.Â Let’s get the place rockin’ on Sunday …Â and bring that trophy back to Baltimore!

The Ravens travel to Foxboro Sunday to battle Cry Brady and the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship!Â Game time is 6:30pm.Â The Atlanta Falcons host the San Francisco 49ers in the 3:00 game for the NFC Championship.
