Iggy’s Baltimore Sports Report – October 1, 2017

News & Commentary

News and Personal Thoughts:
None.

Ravens:
If this is what we have to look forward to the rest of the season, it’s going to be long and frustrating. Another inept offensive performance followed by the inability of our defense to stop Ben was a sure recipe for disaster. Our offense remains unimaginative while the front line failed to provide any decent protection.

A word from my sponsor: Selling Giant and Weis gift cards and Baughers Apples for MRHS Music foundation. Also selling cub scout popcorn. Let me know if you are interested.

Orioles:
This season is mercifully over as the Orioles lose most of September due to gross incompetence. In the off-season, many changes should take place, but not sure how many will materialize. Nothing will happen until World Series is over, so stay tuned for what might be.

Alouettes
Als lost 59-11 to league leading Calgary.

Blast (MASL):
2017-18 schedule has been release

Chesapeake Bayhawks:
Nothing new.

Capitals (See website for more details):
Season starts October 5.

Wizards (See website for more details):
Preseason starts October 2.

D.C.United (See website for more details):
United are 9-18-5 and in last place, and tied for 3rd worst record in league.

What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, never mind. No one is reading this anyway so you probably won’t know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
