Iggy’s Baltimore Sports Report – November 2, 2016

Ravens:
Great news! The Ravens are 1 game out of first and play the evil pittsburgh steelers for a share of the division lead. Bad news is that if we blow this opportunity, the team will be totally demoralized, 2 games out of first, and for all intents and purposed done for the season. Rumor has it that Ben will be playing, but I still think it is a publicity stunt to keep the Ravens off balance. We shall see.

In order to win, the Ravens generally need to play better in all aspects of the game. If they can’t figure that out this week, then start counting the days until Spring Training.

Orioles:
1 game. All the marbles. Let’s go Cubs!

Alouettes
The Als (6-11) won 17-8 against the Stampeders with the best record in the league. Don’t get too excited, Calgary has nothing to proved, having locked up best overall record. Despite being able to tie Hamilton (7-10) in the standings win a win this weekend, the Als are already eliminated from playoff contention with Edmonton (9-8) stealing the 6th and final playoff spot in the crossover.

Blast (MISL):
Season opens November 5 at Harrisburg, and home opener is November 11 against Milwaukee. Individual game tickets now on sale.

Chesapeake Bayhawks: (Home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium)
Hawks announce 2017 23-man protected roster.

Capitals (See website for more details):
Caps (6-2-1) are tied for 2nd with the evil penguions, 1 point behind the Rangers.

Wizards (See website for more details):
Regular season started October 27, but no one told the Wizards (0-2)

D.C.United (See website for more details):
DC pulled a 1-and-done with a 4-2 loss at home against Montreal.

What do you want to see in the Ravens report? What should be scrapped? Actually, never mind. No one is reading this anyway so you probably won’t know the difference. Send an email to iggy at tealdragon.net. Thanks!
