Roost 4 Ready to Dunk at Snowy Deep Creek!
Roost 4 & Team CRRUDE Doin’ the Deep Creek Dunk TODAY!
Greetings!
LAST CALL!
Today we’re reaching out to you to ask for your help. On February 21, 2015 (TODAY!!!) we’ve committed to do a daring deed for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD) by taking a chilly dunk into Deep Creek Lake in scenic Western Maryland. Once again we’re dunking as members of the Council of Ravens Roosts Ultimate Dunk Extraordinaires (Team CRRUDE).
Y’all know the drill … follow the link below to my personal Dunk page and donate what you can on my behalf to benefit Special Olympics Maryland!
So please, if you can, make a donation to Special Olympics Maryland on behalf of me or Frosty or Rob taking the 2015 Deep Creek Dunk. Any amount would be greatly appreciated! It all goes to a wonderful cause … and would also help Team CRRUDE out-fundraise all the other teams out there in “Steeler Countryâ€! Team CRRUDE has been the top fundraising team at the Dunk for the last several years. Go Ravens!!!
Thank you muchly! We’ll do our best to make you and all of our athletic supporters (& not just the jocks) proud!
Follow This Link to visit my personal web page and help me in my efforts to support Special Olympics Maryland. Let it snow!!!

Broadway Show
Is Anyone Interested in a New York City Bus Trip to see a Broadway Show?
BEAUTIFUL: The Carole King Musical
Carole King was the voice of a generation, and her unforgettable life story comes to Broadway in this new musical. Before she became a chart-topping solo artist recording her own material, she was Carole Klein, an awkward teenager with a dream of writing pop songs. By the time she reached her 20s, she had a partnership with her husband, Gerry Goffin, and together they turned out hits for such artists as The Monkees, The Shirelles, The Drifters, Little Eva and Aretha Franklin. But when her personal life began to fall apart, Carole struck out on her own both as a writer and performer, becoming one of the top acts in pop music history. Her first solo album, “Tapestry,†became the soundtrack for a rebellious and soul-searching America.
Tony nominee Jessie Mueller (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever) stars as King in this life-affirming, beautiful show. The score is chock-full of such King hits as “I Feel the Earth Move,†“Will You Love Me Tomorrow?,†“So Far Away,†“One Fine Day,†and “Natural Woman.†The book is by Oscar nominee Douglas McGrath, who co-wrote the screenplay for Bullets Over Broadway with Woody Allen. Marc Bruni (The Explorers’ Club, Old Jews Telling Jokes) directs.
OR…
Mamma Mia:
Get ready to dance and sing the night away at one of Broadway’s hottest tickets with Mamma Mia! at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. Mamma Mia! takes place on an exotic Greek isle where a gorgeous young woman is set to be married. The blushing bride-to-be sets out on a search to find both her true identity and the same of her father. The fun gets ratcheted up when her mom finds out that she’s invited three men that could potentially be her dad. On top of the entertaining story, this New York City musical will have you dancing in your seats with the infectious music of ABBA. Hits like “Take A Chance On Me,†“Winner Take It All,†Dancing Queen,†the eponymous “Mamma Mia†and many more keep this high-spirited NY show rocking all night long. Multiple generations have fallen in love with ABBA’s music. And this Broadway musical is a great way for families to come together for a great time. The story will keep everyone entertained and the 70s music from one of the most popular pop music groups of the decade will have you singing along in no time. So if you want a great night on the town with your friends or just a show that your kids will dance the night away in, then Mamma Mia! is an absolute must-see ticket when you’re in New York City!
Please email me with a yes or no and which show you would prefer, Leslie…ljpacen@yahoo.com
