While many experts predicted a close game, local Ravens fans were feeling confident in the days and hours leading up to kickoff.

Scott Habicht, who watched the game at Jilly’s in Ellicott City along with his fellow members of Ravens Roost No. 4, said before the game he was very confident the team would win.

“I felt we had the momentum, and we carried it in,” said Habicht, of Elkridge, in the second quarter.

Before the game, Mitch Hooper, of Columbia, said he felt that the Ravens would pull out the victory.

“They are focused,” said Hooper. “They want to go out and win this game, and it’s going to happen.”
