Roost #4 Festivities at Kelsey’s – Sunday, February 16th!

On Sunday, February 16th, Roost #4 will be holding a fundraiser up at Kelsey’s to benefit Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD)!  C’mon out to Kelsey’s Sunday afternoon and enjoy the festivities!
Here’s what’s going on …
Trivia Challenge – 1-3pm
  • $10 per person – up to 4 members per team
  • Prizes for the top 3 teams
  • We could use a few more teams … please join us Sunday for the challenge! 

Live Music – Craig Rosendale – 3-6pm

  • Trivia will be immediately followed by acoustic guitar and vocals by Roost #4 member, Craig Rosendale!
  • For those of you who haven’t had a chance to catch Craig playing out in Frederick … here’s your chance at Kelsey’s!

All proceeds from the Trivia Challenge and Craig’s gig benefit Special Olympics Maryland via Frosty & Mitch’s participation in the Deep Creek Dunk on Saturday, February 22nd!

Roost #4 Bull Roast Tickets

  • The Roost #4 Bull & Oyster Roast is Saturday, March 22nd, 7pm-midnight at The Lodge in Catonsville
  • Theresa Griffin will be at Kelsey’s Sunday collecting money from bull roast ticket sales … and will have extra tickets available if you need more!

Remember – Monday, 2/17 is a holiday (Presidents’ Day)!  C’mon out to Kelsey’s Sunday and play!

Roost #4 Cosmic Bowling Challenge – Sunday, December 15th

Ravens Roost #4 is holding our annual Cosmic Bowling Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Maryland on Sunday, December 15th, from 8am – 11am at Brunswick Normandy Lanes on Route 40 in Ellicott City.  Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12.  C’mon-out, have some fun, and help raise some money for Special Olympics!  See the attached flyer and registration form below for more details.

Roost #4 Meeting @ Jilly’s – Monday, February 25th, 7pm

Hey Roost #4 members!

Just an early reminder that we have a Roost meeting this coming Monday, February 25th, 7pm up at Jilly’s!

Why the early reminder?  A few of us are leaving Thursday morning for a weekend up at Deep Creek Lake and to participate in the Maryland State Police Deep Creek Dunk!   Frosty, Mitch, and Dan Collins will be taking the Dunk Saturday at 2pm!  Thank you to all of our members and friends who have already made donations in our names to Special Olympics Maryland!  If you haven’t donated it’s not to late to do so … follow this link – Donate to Team CRRUDE – and click on one of our names to make a donation to Frosty, Mitch, or Dan.

This is our last meeting before ourt March 23rd bull roast … so please turn-in your collected monies, ticket stubs, and unsold tickets to Kim Colhouer at this meeting!  Also, we’re asking members to bring a bottle of booze to the meeting to serve as a donation to our Plush Wheel.  We’ll be looking for volunteers to sign-up at the meeting to assist with shifts on the wheels and selling raffle tickets at the bull roast. Thank you in advance for your help!

Roost #4 Sports Trivia Challenge – Saturday, February 9th

Ravens Roost #4 is holding a Sports Trivia Challenge at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 9th up at Jilly’s to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.  Cost is $10 per person – up to four people per trivia team.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams.  Contact Jeff “Frosty” Volmer to sign-up. C’mon out, continue the celebration of the Ravens winning Super Bowl, and test your sports knowledge!

Ravens Divisional Playoff Party – Saturday, January 12th

Join our Roost #4 members and friends up at Jilly’s on Saturday, January 12th, for Divisional Playoff action as the Ravens travel to the Mile High City to battle Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.  Game time is 4:30pm … but be at Jilly’s early to get a seat!  Ravens rose to the occasion last week against Indy and defeated the Colts at M&T Bank Stadium 24-9 as Ray Lewis made his final lap around the stadium.  Can the Ravens echo the same intensity on the road and overcome their archnemesis Peyton?  C’mon up to Jilly’s and watch with the whole gang! 

Roost #4 will run the usual 50/50 raffle and also throw-in a block pool for the game … both benefit Special Olympics Maryland and the Deep Creek Dunk.  As usual, the Skeeter will be leading the “R-A-V-E-N-S RAVENS” cheer!

Ravens Gameday Party at Jilly’s – Sunday, December 30th

Jilly’s will host their traditional NFL Gameday Party this coming Sunday, December 30th … the final week of the regular season.  Join our Roost #4 members and friends at Jilly’s for the Ravens 1:00 game in Cincinnati … then stick around for the 4pm games.  Roost #4 runs a 50/50 raffle during the Ravens game … all proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland.  C’mon out, grabs some food and drinks, enjoy the game, and cheer for the Ravens as they prepare for their playoff run!  Go Ravens!!!
